DKYN stands for "Didn't Know You Needed" — because that's the reaction every product on this site is supposed to get out of you.
I'm Anthony aka Tony, and I run DKYN out of Lake Zurich, Illinois. My background is in retail distribution and small business operations, not gadgets. But I kept noticing the same thing: a genuinely clever little object would show up in my feed, and by the time I decided to buy it, it was sold out, discontinued, or buried under fifty knockoffs with worse reviews.
So I started testing things myself. If a product actually does what it promises, holds up to handling, and makes someone go "wait, where'd you get that?" — it makes the cut. If it feels cheap, breaks on day two, or is just a gimmick that looked good in a video, it doesn't get listed.
Right now that means a small, tightly curated lineup of poseable fidget toys — no filler products just to pad out a catalog. More is coming as I find things worth actually adding.
